GET READY TO LAUNCH!

Have you ever wondered what it takes to have a book to go from an idea in someone's head to a thing someone can hold in their hands? Have you ever wanted to be a part of the process of a new book's success? Then I have great news for you! I'm recruiting a book launch team for book two in The Eastport Series, A Good Place to Turn Around and you can be a part of it!

Tell me more about A Good Place to Turn Around.

AGPTA (Pronounced ag-peh-ta) tells Sheriff Ben Hudson's story, picking up in the courthouse on the day of his wedding. Following a heartbreaking decision, Ben resigns his post as sheriff, and leaves Eastport. He travels to Philadelphia where he stays with his old college roommate, JJ, and his family. Soon after arriving in the City of Brotherly Love, Ben finds himself knee-deep in a mystery surrounding eleven-year-old Dev Murphy, a boy with a troubling secret.

What's a book launch team?

A Book Launch Team is like a good BLT - it's built in layers, it's colorful and it's fun. Mostly, it's about the buzz. A B.L.T.'s primary purpose is to help an author promote and generate excitement around the release of the author's newest book. A B.L.T. is critical to the success of the book, particularly for independent authors like me.

Why join the team?

Because I'm fun and you'll get to hang out with me. Okay, maybe that's not a great reason. How about this – You'll be supporting an independent author and you'll help prove success is not limited by age. And, if you've read Iris and Mo, enjoyed it, then told someeone about it, you're already functioning as a team member. Why not make it official?

What will you do as part of the team?

The B.L.T. will be together for two months, one month prior to the release and one month after.

As a member of the team, you are encouraged to:

  • Attend an online meeting with me to meet the other members of the team, and to learn about what's ahead.

  • Pre-order a copy of A Good Place to Turn Around. (I'm sorry I can't provide you with a free copy of the book. Reviews carry more weight with "verified purchasers".)

  • Read the book.

  • Write a review and post it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Goodreads, if you're a member, and any other reader website you may use.

  • Share news of the book through your social media platforms. Write about it in your blog, if you have one, or talk about it on your podcast. Start a blog or a podcast so you can write and talk about the book (just kidding).

  • Talk about the book in your book clubs, at the library, on the soccer field, in Starbucks, or wherever fine books are sold.

  • Pray. If you're not a praying person, that's okay, now's a good time to start. What you're praying for is NOT book sales. I'd ask you to pray for two things: that God would be honored in this process, and that those who read the novel will be encouraged.

I'm in! How do I make this official?

Simple. Just click on the "Book Launch Team" button below and complete the form.
